CBR003867Step 7. Training , Awareness and competency: Now that you have properly documented your quality system, you can begin to implement it.  Train everyone to your new system. Keep records of your training. Make sure your training was understood and effective by auditing the processes. If training is found to be ineffective, take the necessary corrective actions, and audit the process again.

Keep Records! Training records can include on the job training for new hires, iso training, safety training, and any other training you provide for your employees including outside training. competency to perform the job that a person is hired for can be achieved in several ways. At the beginning of your development stages for your quality system, most full time employees can be grandfathered in for competency requirements. Other ways to show competency to perform a job, can include certifications, past experience as shown on a resume, a college degree, or other specialized training for which a record can be produced as evidence of this training. Remember that training is a continual process that should be reviewed and updated as needed.
